Dr. Margaret Hoecker, DC
I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma. I went to college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. I moved to Portland in 1996 to raise my two daughters.
I decided to return to school when my daughters began school. I wanted to pursue a career where I felt I could make a difference in my community and in peoples lives.
I received my BS from Portland State University and my Doctorate of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College. After chiropractic school, I became certified in Active Release Technique for soft tissue injuries.
I hope to use my culinary skills and nutritional background to put together healthy, fast, delicious recipes to share with my patients. I also want to help my patients learn the importance of eating well and moving well.
